The easiest way to get here by public transport, catch a Nawalapitiya train from the Kandy Railway Station location. The Galboda fall is about 2.6km beyond the Galboda Station map. You can easily get there on your foot within one hour. From the Galboda Station, it’s a pleasant rural stroll of about to the falls.

The waterfall was Atlantis-blue. It was gushing over the rocks. At its widest point, it was surging and plunging down the mountain. It had a beautiful serenity-pool at the bottom. It was veneer clear. The frogs croaking nearby added to the wonderful sounds. We threw ourselves under the waterfall. It was so cold that we started shuddering.
